And Still Have Dinner Ready and On The Table!
After you have been on social media a while you begin to realize that all your friends or followers are not exactly created equal. So you would buy absolutely anything from, some you have a closer bond with than your own sister and some you simply can’t stand. Those are pretty powerful connections and feelings considering you have most likely never met these people face to face.
In the days of reality TV and social media it is quite obvious that we are obsessed with the lives of others. And on the flip side of that coin, we love to have our lives played out in front of our “audience.” So where do we draw the line?
If you have been to my blog before and read some of my prior posts, you probably know how much I love social media etiquette! A lot of people who are trying to make a buck online do some really heinous, annoying things to grab our attention in attempts at checking out their product. It seems that that leave all rules of marketing or social media etiquette by the wayside. One of those things is tagging, more specifically tagging random people in a video that they have nothing to do with.
But what if you are actually supposed to be getting something accomplished while consuming all this “news”? Have you discovered how critical it is these days and more importantly in the future to have your business online so that your customers can find you and better relate to you? Of course, otherwise you would not be reading this right now, so don’t off get off track and caught up in the noise on your social media communities. Having a plan, efficiency in your business, and some social media help will allow you reach more buyers, increase your popularity, while at the same time not spending your whole day submerged in the constant stream of updates.
What if I told you that I could give you back hours in your workday that could make you more productive and more in tune with the core focus of your business, but still maintain a presence and relevance on social media, thus increasing your following and reaching your targeted potential clients all over the world?
Facebook groups are gaining popularity every day and why wouldn’t they, they can be very awesome! Anyone can make a group and for any reason or topic. You and your friends can come together for a common cause and have your own small community. One feature of groups that some people like to abuse is that the admin has to add people to the group as opposed to people being able to join of their own free will. So what I have to say is PLEASE DON’T ADD ME TO YOUR GROUP that I know nothing about.
I am so appreciative of the time I spent with Cori after she completed my “Social Media Audit”. I have been using Facebook for my design business, but had recently added Twitter and Linked in and was overwhelmed by the task of how to use them all effectively. I received a great written report and then she walked me through what I needed to do as well as what I was doing right. I now feel like I not only have the correct tools to accomplish what I need to, but a clear plan that I can implement as my time and business allow. Thank you Cori!!
